Atrio Sheikh Zayed Egypt is a mixed-used development project set in the Cairo suburb of 6th of October City. The project was inaugurated in 2018 by the then president of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and is named after the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founder and first President of the United Arab Emirates. The development has been designed to become a model of future urban living by combining a number of lifestyle components with sophisticated technology, innovative design, and sustainable solutions.

Atrio Sheikh Zayed Egypt covers an area of ​​around 11 million square meters and will feature a range of services and amenities which will include educational and healthcare facilities, offices, entertainment and leisure facilities, retail outlets, green spaces, a mosque and a resort hotel. The project is being developed in five phases over several decades and is projected to become home to around 300,000 people.

The development seeks to create an integrated smart city environment that embraces modern technology and innovation to provide enhanced quality of life for its citizens. Features such as solar energy, energy efficient lighting and water management, and automated digital systems for parking, waste disposal and transport will be integrated into the infrastructure of Atrio
