Their guide was Ahmed, a local Egyptian who had been living in Giza for over 10 years and had an extensive knowledge of Egyptian culture, history and the Pyramids.

The tour started with an overview of the Pyramids and their origins. Ahmed discussed the importance of the Pyramids and how they were built to represent the power and stability of the Egyptian civilization. After the introduction, the group was given a closer look at the Pyramids, where they got to walk up the side of the Great Pyramid and view the stunning views of Cairo from the top. Ahmed described some of the beliefs and superstitions that are associated with the area, such as how the Pyramids were thought to have magical healing powers.

The group then made its way to the Sphinx, where they got the rare chance to take pictures with the iconic statue. After that, they visited the Valley Temple, which is a part of the ancient necropolis surrounding the Pyramids. On their way back, the group stopped by the nearby papyrus shops, where they could buy souvenirs and artifacts from the trip.

Overall, the group had a great experience exploring the Pyramids. Ahmed’s enthusiasm for the history and culture of the area made the experience even more interesting and exciting. The entire group agreed that it was a day well spent, and will definitely be remembered as one of their most memorable trips to Egypt.
